This collection reflects the quiet vulnerability of Africa’s iconic wildlife, seen through two contrasting perspectives: clarity and distortion. Leah provocatively layers film on some pieces, symbolising the suffocating pressure humans place on nature. In contrast, other work presents wildlife in raw, unobstructed beauty. Together they explore the fragile boundary between survival and silence, evoking the question of what is at risk of being lost without greater care and preservation
Artist biography Leah is an artist and environmental activist best known for her paintings of nature and endangered species. Her multi-medium approach creates textured sculptural surfaces to highlight the environmental impact of single-use plastics. Leah draws inspiration from her extensive travels, deep connection to nature, and raising her children to fuel her commitment to environmental preservation. She has exhibited internationally, including shows in London, Athens, and Japan.
