Adoptions

You’ve heard of the gift that keeps on giving – but our amazing animal adoptions are the gifts that keep them living! From just £3 a month, you can safeguard your favourite species and contribute directly to the projects and programmes we support.

We have eight core species to choose from. What’s more, our adoption packs are filled to the brim with extra goodies you won’t find anywhere else. Of course, you’ll receive a fact and bio-sheet for your chosen species, as well as a personalised adoption certificate and photo of your chosen species ambassador. But you’ll also get a beautiful art print and then there’s the option of a handknitted toy.

You can opt to have a beautiful, hand-knitted toy of your chosen species included as part of your adoption, from just £5 a month. These aren’t off-the-shelf, mass-made synthetic toys – they are sourced and crocheted in Zambia and Zimbabwe by women from remote villages, making each one uinque and made just for you. By choosing a DSWF adoption this Christmas, you’re not just supporting your favourite species – but also providing these women with an essential source of dignified income and enabling them to provide for their families.

And we also offer a digital adoption pack for a zero-waste gift – or a last-minute one! Remember, the last day of posting for our physical adoptions packs is December 17.
