A Night to Remember: The Wildlife Ball 2025 News November 12, 2025 A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for this year’s Wildlife Ball – an unforgettable evening of inspiration, creativity, and incredible generosity for wildlife. On Friday 7th November, supporters, artists, and friends of David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation came together to celebrate the natural world and raise vital funds for its protection. Thanks to your amazing support, more than £170,000 was raised to protect endangered species and support communities across Africa and Asia. Celebrating David’s Legacy This year’s Ball honoured the life and vision of David Shepherd, whose belief that “the world is a beautiful place and worth fighting for” continues to inspire everything we do. We’d like to thank Dame Judi Dench for her heartfelt message that helped open the evening and set the tone. Image Credit: CPG Media An Auction to Remember: Art in Action One of the most memorable moments came from Emily Lamb, DSWF’s Art Ambassador, who performed a captivating live painting inspired by elephants, the very animals so strongly associated with her grandfather David’s passion for conservation. Guests watched as Emily’s artwork came to life before their eyes, before being auctioned later that evening to raise vital funds for wildlife. Cy Baker’s stunning painting ‘Sacred Emergence’, also sold for an impressive sum to support conservation work on the ground. His passion and dedication brought the reality of frontline conservation to life, reminding us all what this evening was truly about.
