ABOUT THE ARTIST
Jonathan has been a professional artist for over 30 years. He worked aboard P&O and Cunard Cruises 2011-17, illustrated travel guides and was commissioned to write and illustrate “Drawing and Painting Animals”, published by the UK’s largest gallery group & publisher 2009-2017. Since 2004, Jonathan has annually led art safaris worldwide. In 2019 he filmed “A Brush with Nature” in Kenya, painting Kenya’s largest big tusker. Jonathan is an ambassador for “Artists for Conservation” in China, twice winner of BBC Magazine’s Wildlife Artist of the Year “Frozen Planet” category, as well as winner of Wildlife Artist of the Year’s “Abstract World” category 2025.
