ABOUT THE ARTIST Ikuko Iwamoto is a Japanese ceramic artist based in London. Inspired by the wildlife and landscapes of her coastal upbringing in Wakayama, Japan, she creates porcelain sculptures exploring the relationship between humans and the natural world. Recent works focus on marine ecosystems, overfishing, and environmental change, transforming vulnerable species into poetic ceramic forms. Through her practice, she seeks to foster a deeper connection with nature and encourage reflection on our responsibility towards the living world.
