ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The sculpture portrays a lion emitting strength and pride. The subtle degradation of the surface suggests a decline, yet not the weakness of an individual, but the silent fading of an entire species. The cracks and texture become an ecological metaphor. The lion does not lose its majesty—each one, down to the very last individual, remains an equally powerful protector of its family, yet we watch as its legacy on this planet weakens with every passing day.
