ABOUT THE ARTIST James Ort is a UK-based wildlife artist and sculptor whose sculptures capture the movement, character, and beauty of the natural world. After a career in conservation, he took over the Phoenix Studio in Towersey, Oxfordshire, where he creates and teaches. Passionate about inspiring others, James delivers workshops internationally for adults and children. His work also supports conservation, including collaborations with the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation and a 2024 group exhibition at the Knepp Rewilding Project.
