ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Paul Sounders photographed this large male in the Eclipse Sound in the Torngat Mountains in northern Labrador, Canada, on his sailboat’s first trip north on a quest to find the perfect bear. Hazel used reduction linocut with inks and pastel to create this image which makes the edition slightly varied.
