As quoted by David, “Barbara posed for this picture with Muffin our bearded collie. While Barbara was trying to get on with the spinning, Muffin was trying to persuade her that going for a walk would be far more fun. The fireplace was in our home at the time – an Elizabethan farmhouse dating from 1560. The original hooks in the inglenook fireplace were in the brick wall to hold the curtain back.”
