This artwork reflects the ecological richness of Dartmoor and its temperate rainforests, where mist, moss and granite form interconnected systems of life. Drawing inspiration from her home and time spent within the nearby rainforest, her work honours its rare flora and fauna.

The painting approaches the landscape as a breathing presence, shaped by weather, resilience and continuity, honouring the delicate ecosystem that it supports.
