Andrew was crowned David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation’s Wildlife Artist of the Year 2020 for his remarkably detailed and strikingly beautiful ‘Wood Stork’ created from oils and gold leaf.
Andrew’s elephant drawings were inspired by his art residency with Ongava Game Reserve and Lodge in Namibia in June 2023 where he saw these magnificent but sadly endangered creatures in the flesh. Ongava is an art-oriented game reserve close to where DSWF is working to protect the remaining desert-adapted black rhino.
Our sincere thanks go to Andrew for donating 50% of the proceeds from this sale, which will support the charitable work of David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation (DSWF) and our ground-based conservation partners across Africa and Asia.
