We believe in inspiring our children and young people to help them to learn about wildlife and the threats that endanger their survival. We want to enable them to do something about it and to make a difference to the natural world.
We’d love to hear from your school if you’d like to support DSWF through your learning and fundraising. Here are some ideas for how you can get involved…
World Animal Day
We are calling on schools up and down the country to join us on 4 October and support DSWF for World Animal Day.
The planet is now entering it’s 6th mass extinction. This means that many species are dying out, and it’s happening at a rate around 100 times faster than it should.
At DSWF, we are working hard to protect endangered animals and their habitats, giving them the best chance of survival. By celebrating World Animal Day with us, we’ll help you to engage your children with some of the key issues facing our wildlife and also raise vital funds to protect them.

Charity of the Year
If you and your school are thinking about your Charity of the Year nomination for the next academic year, please consider choosing David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation (DSWF).
Time is running out for some of the world’s most endangered animals and sadly this generation of children will feel the biggest impact from decisions made over the next few decades to protect it.
By choosing DSWF we can help your children to feel empowered and to learn about wildlife and the difference they can make.
