‘Writhe’ by Stephen Rew.

The overall winner of the competition, earning the £10,000 prize generously donated Neil and June Covey, was ‘Writhe’ by Stephen Rew, an incredibly dynamic sculpture of an octopus, made from solid bronze, climbing around a wall.

Wildlife Artist of the Year 2019 overall runner up

The overall runner-up was the incredibly detailed ‘Reflections’, a scratchboard depiction of a lionfish by Tamara Pokorny.
