About The Isle of Wight Challenge
4/5 May 2024

Great challenges need great settings – and few are better than the Island’s stunning coastal path. Up to 2,000 adventurers will take on the Isle of Wight in May 2024 – all out to push themselves further on either a 25km, 50km ot 100km walk, jog or run. The route winds along the spectacular southern cliffs, past the iconic Needles, and up to historic Cowes at the half way stop. For Full Island challengers it’s on to historic Ventnor, and back to our welcome base camp in Chale after an epic  journey.

You’ll get full support and hospitality along the way. Enabling you to go further, whilst enjoying the great outdoors & camaraderie. There’re marquee rest stops, lots of food & drink, medical & massage teams, with a fully signed route to guide you. A big finish-line celebration awaits with an amazing sense of achievement, and once the aches subside you’ll feel energised, and up for more of life’s real challenges!

Why take part?

An Ultra Challenge is a great way to get in shape, re-energise and test your limits.  You’ll meet fantastic like minded people along the way and its a chance to explore some of the best of the UK’s countryside and coastline!

You’ll be supporting David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation in our mission to turn the tide on extinction by protecting endangered wildlife, fighting wildlife crime and engaging with local communities to foster peaceful coexistance with wildlife.

Lastly, its a fun challenge with great support and you will recieve a delicious glass of bubbly and a stunning medal upon completion!
