Wildlife Artist of the Year 2021

Referred to as ‘The Oscars of wildlife art’ the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation’s annual Wildlife Artist of the Year exhibition is a culmination of months, sometimes years, of work from wildlife artists around the world. Alongside our judging panel we are proud and delighted to have curated a truly stunning celebration of the world’s finest wildlife art in 2021 as a homage to the natural world.

This year we brought you an online exhibition of over 250 stunning artworks ranging from traditional wildlife portraits, colourful and playful scenes depicting the animal kingdom, dynamic and exciting wildlife interactions and stunning and serene wilderness landscapes. Although the exhibition has now closed the 2021 virtual gallery is still open for viewing and is a feast for the eyes and a tonic for the soul.

The depth and breadth of work in 2021 was exceptional and with at least 50% of all the profits from the artwork sales going to support wildlife conservation – this is a collection like no other.

Explore a plethora of wonderful wildlife from the hidden depths of our planet’s oceans to the highest snow-capped mountains of faraway continents.

If you enjoy viewing the artworks below, please consider purchasing one of the stunning pieces from our shop to help keep wildlife safe, or make a donation to support our conservation efforts across Africa and Asia.

While sales are now officially closed, we welcome inquiries after specific artworks. Please email way@davidshepherd.org if you have any questions.

Thank you.
