DSWF Wildlife Artist of the Year is our internationally renowned wildlife art competition and exhibition, which each year attracts entries from some of the most talented artists around the world.
In 2025, the exhibition is open at the Mall Galleries in London from 9 – 13 September, displaying over 150 shortlisted artworks, selected by DSWF’s dedicated judging panel.
This catalogue provides exquisite, quality imagery and details of their highly deliberated chosen pieces for this year’s exhibition, portraying an extraordinary breadth of art mediums and exploration of the beauty and variety of wildlife through eight categories: Abstract World, Animal Behaviour, Earth’s Wild Beauty, Environmental Artivism, Facing Extinction, Youth Exclusive, Into the Blue, and Wings.
Since its inception in 2008, DSWF Wildlife Artist of the Year has attracted nearly 19,000 entries, and through entry fees, exhibition sales and sponsorship has raised £2 million. In 2025, the competition opened to amateur and professional artists around the world in early January 2025, and we were delighted to have received over 1,290 entries from 63 countries.
