Students fundraise for tigers!

The Animal Protection Society (APS) at the University of Essex fundraised for TigerTime!

On the 9th November, the society held an event called ‘Wild Party: North Goes Wild!’ They chose a safari/wilderness theme with fundraisers dressed in tiger costumes! “The atmosphere was brilliant with free food and drinks, bongo drums, dancers, and music! The Animal Protection Society had a face painting stall which raised £19.63 for TigerTime”, said APS President Kristin Aakvik. “Our society chose to fundraise for TigerTime, as we did last year, because we see the tiger as a precious species that we do not want to lose. We will fundraise for the campaign again next term by doing bag-packing at a supermarket! We will do everything in our power to help save the wild tiger.”

A massive thank you to everyone that took part in the APS fundraising day – your support is brilliant!
