Prince Michael backs DSWF and TigerTime in the Sunday Express News July 9, 2012 In an interview with the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation’s patron, Prince Michael of Kent, the plight of the Amur Tiger was brought to the fore. “They are extraordinarily evocative animals … but their numbers are very much in decline,” he said. At the same time he remained positive about work being done on the global stage to save the tiger and by the TigerTime supported teams in Russia’s Far East. “It’s always good to bring conservation issues to mainstream media and we hope that people will share our Patron’s passion and join the fight to save the tiger in the wild,” says DSWF CEO, Melanie Shepherd.
