This piece captures the intense focus of the pack leader, where she weighs up any possibilities or opportunities for her and the rest of her clan. Feeding her pack and keeping them safe is ingrained in her art for survival. Tim captures raw vigilance and quiet calculation behind her gaze, the way instinct and experience merge into a single, unspoken language of survival. Every line and shadow reflects not just her physical form, but the weight of responsibility she carries as both hunter and protector. In this moment of stillness, there is tension, awareness, and an unyielding resilience that defines her existence. Through stark contrasts and textured strokes, Tim conveys not only her strength, but the fragile balance between life and loss that shapes the world she inhabits.

Artist biography
Tim is an artist and advocate whose work spans from wildlife to punk rock portraits. Inspired by nature conservation, he captures an animal’s character in his unique style of abstract scribbles. This builds texture and results in detailed artworks when viewed from a distance. Contrasting tones and strong shapes create a big visual impact where Tim has experimented with different mediums from ink to coffee washes.
