Watching, Waiting

Watching, Waiting
Holly Kavonic
ARTWORK DESCRIPTION:
Holly’s inspiration for this painting came from photographer Raymond Barlow’s video and photograph of these soaked Great Horned Owlets in Southern Ontario, Canada. These owlets had been raised rather precariously in the hand of this 5-fingered tree, surviving against the odds through high wind and pouring rain, “proof of our resilience to life’s storms.”
