Kristina Khlebnikova takes every possible opportunity to get closer to nature and also to go bird watching. Describing her pencil drawing “Tundra Landscape with Willow Ptarmigans” Kristina says: “It’s always a pleasure to see these snow patches taking off from under your feet. They are a good complement to the landscape of speckled carpet painted with lichens.”

Kristina Khlebnikova is deeply passionate about nature and she takes every opportunity to get closer to it. She is a birdwatcher and regularly visits bird ringing stations. This helps her to enrich her work not only with hard-earned technique but with true dedication and warmth which she shares with us through her artwork. Khlebnikova strives to reflect nature with every careful stroke of her pencil and by creating illustrations of the peaceful beauty that surrounds us.
