The Prodigy/Brazilian Tapir

The Prodigy/Brazilian Tapir
WILD LINES
About The Piece:
A zoologist with a passion for art and conservation, Jennifer Parker (whose uses her brand name WILD LINES) creates unique, detailed wildlife illustrations using artists’ pens on paper. Each of her animal subjects has its own character and charm, carefully woven into the dots and lines that form the finished pieces. Jen hopes that her work will instil feelings of wonder and encourage people to engage with nature and consider ways we can protect and conserve the biodiversity around us. Through her art, she hopes to share her love for the natural world and evoke a sense of optimism about its future. She says “The Prodigy, a juvenile Brazilian tapir native to South America, offers a symbol of optimism for wildlife in a world in crisis. Now more than ever, we need hope that together we can protect and restore our natural world. It is time to celebrate conservation successes, share solutions and work towards a bright and biodiverse future.”
At least 50% of the proceeds from this sale will support the charitable work of David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation (DSWF) and our ground-based conservation partners across Africa and Asia.
