ARTWORK DESCRIPTION:
Freddy Paske describes his artwork “The First Fishermen Home (sketch): “Sea birds flanking from the the left and right of the frame swarm towards the lonely boat in the hope of grabbing a fish. The abstract formation of the birds is from the negative space of the underlying canvas. Applying blocky brushwork allows the viewer’s eye to form the shapes intended, both in the water’s reflections and above.”
