Large, powerful, visually stunning and yet so vulnerable, orangutans are struggling for space in our modern world. Emma says ”Wildlife shouldn’t have to validate why they deserve the right to have the room to exist. ‘Striding On’ is confident, brash, saying don’t ignore me, I am here. With added gratitude to conservationists who ‘stride on’ through difficult times.”

ARTIST BIOGRAPHY

Emma Swift is an award-winning wildlife artist working predominantly in oil. She combines vivid colours with bold brush strokes, alongside more intricate detail to bring her passion for animals and birds to life. In 2020 and 2021 Emma had a total of five paintings shortlisted in the DSWF Wildlife Artist of the Year, four of which were ‘Highly Commended’. Emma is thrilled that through her artwork she had been able to raise money to support vital conservation projects around the world.
