Silent Stare

Silent Stare
David Hadaway
About the piece:
David became a full-time wildlife artist after his first solo exhibition in 1990. He was lucky enough to spend quality time with the beautiful and curious leopard depicted in this artwork. She resides in Sabi Sabi game reserve which is part of the greater Kruger National Park Transfrontier Conservation area in South Africa. A short while before this image was captured she had been stalking a small herd of impala. Unfortunately for her the impalas spotted her and darted off, leaving her tail flashing with disappointment as she proceeded to climb a Marula tree, finding a suitable spot to lay down and directed her ‘Silent Stare’ to the vehicle which David was in.
At least 50% of the proceeds from this sale will support the charitable work of David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation (DSWF) and our ground-based conservation partners across Africa and Asia.
