About the piece:
“Plastic Taste” depicts three sea animals, a fish, a dolphin, and a sea lion, all consuming plastic at a dinner table in a humanly fashion. Sarah Zeng is a current high school student in the United States. Sarah says: “I have loved art for about as long as I can remember. I find joy and meaning through art and hope others may find the same through my art as well. Although I enjoy using any art medium, I adore watercolours the most along with the feel they give. There are many artists that have inspired me, but I believe my biggest inspiration is through life itself, and the intricacies in it. Art is such a beautiful thing to create, to express, to indulge in, and to experience to the fullest.”
