Jack Durling’s “Penguin Colony” sculpture comprises 100 (60 pictured) hand-made, hollow formed, individual emperor penguins finished with porcelain underbellies, collectively displayed exploring the movement and congregation of one of the earth’s biggest spectacles. Edition 1 of 1.

Jack Durling is a Brighton based artist who is inspired by the phenomena of the natural world and creates bespoke ceramic sculptures that are celebratory of their species. Focusing on natural behaviours and animal congregation, his work is notable for decorative embellishment.
