Out of the Darkness

Out of the Darkness
Daniel Wilson
About the piece:
Daniel has been painting wildlife for the last 10 years, with his favourite medium being charcoal. He loves how you can push and pull the medium around the surface, with it being malleable and free. His aim is to give the animals he draws the freedom and embedded life into every one of his drawings. ‘Out of the Darkness’ depicts a shark appearing from the depths of the ocean. Light from the surface plays across the back of the shark.
