About the piece:
Darren Rees has been panting wildlife for nearly 40 years. His work has attracted many awards and honours, most recently the artist in residency in Antarctica post organised by the Royal Navy and the Friends of the Scott Polar Research Institute. ‘Orcas, Blackfish Sound’ was inspired by a real encounter watching orcas in British Columbia, Canada.
At least 50% of the proceeds from this sale will support the charitable work of David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation (DSWF) and our ground-based conservation partners across Africa and Asia.
