About The Piece:
Formerly a marine biologist, Jeremy has been a professional wildlife artist for 30 years. He has travelled extensively to collect reference material and all his paintings result from personal experiences and observation. He has been a category winner of BBC Wildlife Artist of the Year three times. Jeremy remarks On the Wind – Shy Albatross, Jeremy says “ I have been fortunate enough to see a number of species of Albatross. This is the Shy Albatross which I saw on the way to Stewart Island off the south coast of New Zealand. I depicted it on a wild day with dramatic lighting.
