Each year, the talented artists who take part in DSWF Wildlife Artist of the Year are invited to participate in #SketchForWildlife.

By painting or drawing a small image on a postcard it gives visitors to the online exhibition a chance to own a totally unique piece of work, by a highly sought after collection of artists.

The postcards have always been extremely popular and we hope you will support this initiative which allows more people to own a unique piece of original art, albeit on a slightly smaller scale. The subject and medium of the postcard was entirely up to the artist, with the subject matter being their own celebration of the natural world.

100% of the proceeds from this sale will support the charitable work of David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation (DSWF) and our ground-based conservation partners across Africa and Asia.

Cindy Sorley-Keichinger is a self-taught artist who has taken workshops from some of the top artists in her genre. Her preferred medium of choice is acrylic, but she also works in oil and gouache, she likes how the colours pop. She prefers to paint animals and nature she has seen and experienced so she can convey the impressions to others. Bringing nature and wildlife into viewers’ lives makes them more aware and supportive of their continued protection. Cindy resides on a grain farm in the Lloydminster area of Alberta; she is married and has raised four children, and now has 9 grandchildren.
