#SKETCHFORWILDLIFE:
Each year, the talented artists who take part in DSWF Wildlife Artist of the Year are invited to participate in #SketchForWildlife.
By painting or drawing a small image on a postcard it gives visitors to the online exhibition a chance to own a totally unique piece of work, by a highly sought after collection of artists.
The postcards have always been extremely popular and we hope you will support this initiative which allows more people to own a unique piece of original art, albeit on a slightly smaller scale. The subject and medium of the postcard was entirely up to the artist, with the subject matter being their own celebration of the natural world.
100% of the proceeds from this sale will support the charitable work of David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation (DSWF) and our ground-based conservation partners across Africa and Asia.
ARTIST BIOGRAPHY:
Anna Pluda is an Italian artist who regularly sees grey herons which live in a park in the suburbs of her town. In the early spring the park is full of their calls and Anna often watches them going back and forth, picking up little branches to build their nests.
