Narvalo
EL FOOSER
About the piece:
Enrico Fuser (EL FOOSER) had a pop artist background which he abandoned to devote himself to more introspective painting influenced by nature. His work is inspired by natural sciences, naturalistic prints of the time, bestiaries, the world of the occult, as well as contemporary icons. We live in an era of climate change which threatens the life of animals. The narwhal is forced to come out of its natural element (water) to say: ‘Hey, I am here!’
