Kylie Buys
About the piece:
Artist Kylie Buys finds pangolins adorable and odd; she loves the way they walk on their hind legs holding their front arms together. When she saw the Wildlife Artist Of The Year category “facing extinction” she knew right away that she wanted to capture their irresistible cute factor, in art. Kylie was also inspired to draw an animal from her own continent, Africa, having mentioned about the amazing wildlife around her home and the devastation that they’re on the brink of extinction. Kylie hope’s her artwork will bring about a discussion of conservation of wildlife and a smile to everyone’s face.
At least 50% of the proceeds from this sale will support the charitable work of David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation (DSWF) and our ground-based conservation partners across Africa and Asia.
