About the piece:
“A little side-eye goes a long way”. Painted from the artist’s own photo reference using Michael Harding oils. Sarah Soward is an oil painter with a focus on endangered wildlife. Her works runs the genre gamut from Surrealism to Fauvism to Realism and sometimes incorporates Abstract Expressionism as well. She holds a BFA from the California College of the Arts. Her artwork shows internationally and was included in exhibitions at the Kentucky Derby Museum at Churchill Downs, the Hawaii Museum of Contemporary Art in Hilo (solo exhibition), and in the Museo Civico di Storia Naturale di Genova.
