Chloe explains: “This herd of plains zebra has accompanied me on an epic artistic journey over the last year. It is so joyous to see a sea of wildlife like this, still thriving in parts of the world but even this near threatened species is seeing a population decline, with a predicted 24% reduction since 2002. One day scenes like this may really be only art.”
Chloe Donovan’s role as a veterinarian gives her the privilege of working closely with all kinds of animals across the world. She has had the immense pleasure of seeing wild animals in their natural environment, and learned of their struggles first hand. As well as pledging her life to help animals with her qualification, Chloe has also been aspired to use her art as a platform to raise awareness of conservation causes and to fundraise. In 2020 she committed more time to pursuing a professional art career and in doing so she has uncovered an infatuation which will always be part of her.
