About the piece:
Darren Rees has been painting wildlife for nearly 40 years. His work has attracted many awards and honours, most recently an artist in residency in Antarctica organised by the Royal Navy and the Friends of the Scott Polar Research Institute. ‘Cranes, Bosque del Apache’ is inspired by encounters watching winter cranes and geese in the Rio Grande Valley, New Mexico.
At least 50% of the proceeds from this sale will support the charitable work of David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation (DSWF) and our ground-based conservation partners across Africa and Asia.
