Close Encounter

Close Encounter
Sarah Drummond
About the piece:
A real incident involving a close friend a curious humpback whale inspired this print. Humpbacks are generally unafraid of small, slow-moving boats, but true interactions such as this are rare and extremely special. Our view of cetaceans from above the water is limited, and I enjoyed imagining what was going on beneath the surface in the whale’s element.
