About the piece:
Val has been a professional creative recycling artist for 30 years, with her first touring exhibition ‘Reincarnated Rubbish’ and her new touring exhibition ‘Endangered and Extinct’ being shown in many art galleries throughout the UK. She has a special interest in endangered and extinct species, with her work reflecting this. ‘Blue Tinned Tuna Fish’ used numerous textures and techniques when being constructed, representing an endangered fish due to overfishing.

At least 50% of the proceeds from this sale will support the charitable work of David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation (DSWF) and our ground-based conservation partners across Africa and Asia.
