About the piece:
Stephen Rew brings the wild to life with his bronze sculptures and coffee and ink paintings of the animal world. Stephen was awarded the coveted title of Wildlife Artist of the Year 2019 by the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation for his wall-mounted Octopus “Writhe”. Stephen dedicates a large portion of his time to working near wildlife, where his inspiration is largely derived. He works with conservation charities in a bid to “do his bit” and help animals in the natural world. He works largely on commission and exhibits in the UK, Middle East, USA and Channel Islands.
At least 50% of the proceeds from this sale will support the charitable work of David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation (DSWF) and our ground-based conservation partners across Africa and Asia.
