About the piece:
Alexander Fleming is a creator of realistic art, only ever subtly and rarely altering the odd thing in an artistic rendition. The real and natural world is immensely interesting to him and therefore it is his desire to depict it as near to reality as he can. He sees nature as covering a gamut of size, colour, personality and beauty, all which should be worthy of anyone’s attention. The American Bison depicted in this artwork is a docile yet incredibly imposing beast. This piece is Alexander’s celebration of its beauty and habitat, and what can be achieved through conservation.
