Yaks were on the brink of extinction due to indiscriminate hunting by humans. Despite being classified as a vulnerable species in need of protection, they are not effectively safeguarded. The artist has depicted the appearance of yaks in the wild using watercolors and coloured pencils.

Ji Sang Kim is a young artist from South Korea who focuses on creating an overall atmosphere that fits the theme and emphasizes harmony depending on the materials.
