Naomi Jenkin’s goal with this piece was to encapsulate the sheer power and majesty of an African elephant. She wanted the drawing to exude energy and purpose whilst conveying drama and movement in a visual spectacle that demanded attention.

ARTIST BIOGRAPHY

Naomi Jenkin is a professional artist based in Cornwall. Her passion for the natural world has led her to a career celebrating animals of all kinds through her art. With a mission to foster a deeper connection to nature and inspire conservation efforts, Naomi’s work encourages us all to protect our natural world for future generations. Naomi was a finalist in Wildlife Artist of the Year 2022, and recently received the Inaugural Chairperson’s Award 2024 from the Association of Animal Artists in recognition of her wildlife art and contribution to conservation.
