‘Word of Warning’ by Ryan Evans shows a snarling leopard full of energy, perhaps poised and ready to defend it’s territory. Created with oil paint, mostly with the use of a palette knife.

Ryan Evans is a fine artist specialising in photorealism but has recently added slightly looser impressionism to his portfolio. In either style, his goal is to replicate or enhance every detail of the subject to convey their emotions in the given circumstance. Whether it’s a wild animal interacting with man-made pollutants such as plastic, or a ferocious big cat snarling as it defends its territory, every detail has to be captured or implied.
