The artist poses an imagined scenario of a crocodile coming to a town or urban setting as mankind increasingly encroaches on our wild habitats. Fascinated by graffiti, Karen enjoyed recreating the colours and shapes of an abstract graffiti inspired background and, in this piece, she rose to the challenge using colour pencil for the different textures of rubble, scaly skin and graffiti wall.
