The artist Vesela Sultanova observes that some people would believe you if you told them eating pangolin meat would help them grow wings, somewhat more than if you told them they would be able to fly if they jumped off a skyscraper. The second comment holds the most truth.

ARTIST BIOGRAPHY
Vesela Sultanova was born in the heart of the Rose Valley in central Bulgaria. After an initial art training, they continued to study at the Faculty of Fine Arts. In this inspirational environment, students felt like part of Raffaello’s ‘The School of Athens’ fresco. Vesela is guided by ideas, and a desire for a world in which one lives in harmony with all species. It is their hope that Michelangelo’s ‘Last Judgment’ fresco is not a prediction of the future.
