Whilst wildfires are a natural occurrence within some ecosystems, fire seasons are becoming greater and more extreme. Conditions caused by climate change and land management are creating more frequent and higher intensity wildfires. The wildfires of Canada in 2023 burnt 5% of the country’s entire forest area.

ARTIST BIOGRAPHY
Surrey-based abstract and semi-abstract landscape painter, Emma Price works primarily in oils. Having always felt a connection to our natural world, her work is often based on landscapes she has lived in and travelled through. Using her photographs and memories as a departure point, she creates atmospheric works that often place the viewer within the landscape. Exhibiting regularly at art fairs and galleries across the country; Emma has work in private collections both in the UK and abroad. Although having had a successful design publishing career in both Australia and England, in 2019 Emma left the publishing world to pursue her fine arts career.
