Steve Nayar’s artwork shows an urban fox as it startles a graffiti chicken. More wildlife are being forced to move into urban areas. Some species are better suited to adaptation than others. Street-smart animals, like Steve’s fox, show fascinating adaptions for living in human environs. We need to be ready to adapt to this change too.

ARTIST BIOGRAPHY

For over a decade, Steve Nayar has immersed himself in wildlife art, driven by the alarming decline of species. Drawing from his background in design and advertising, his art features a bold graphic style to raise awareness and convey a potent conservation message: “We need your attention and help… urgently!” Beyond aesthetics, his paintings support global conservation efforts, with a significant portion of sales donated to wildlife organisations. Now, for the eighth successive year, Steve Nayar is a finalist in the DSWF Wildlife Artist of the Year having achieved ‘Highly Commended’ in 2022.
