Pascale Beneteau – WHALI WHALOU

£5,400

ARTWORK DESCRIPTION:

By creating “Whali Whalou”, the whale, Pascale wanted it to be representative of all categories of whales without distinction. Pascale wanted to ensure that the whale is no longer a “consumer product” as can still be seen in some countries today, or in a new sector in full economic expansion that is “whale watching”. Pascale says: “Let’s protect the whales! Let’s continue the fight that has been going on since the 1930s so that all of them obtain the status of “protected species”. They are the safeguard of our oceans.” Edition size: 8 Available to DSWF 1 (No 5/8).
