No. 48 – Jeremy Paul – Wren Sold

£60

ARTIST BIOGRAPHY:

Originally trained as a marine biologist, Jeremy has now been a full-time wildlife artist for over 30 years. Jeremy works in acrylics, developing his artwork in many layers of paint with extensive use of underpainting and glazes to alter the tone and atmosphere. Jeremy has travelled widely to obtain reference material for paintings and has been exhibited in the UK and the US. His work appears on postage stamps and he is a published author. Jeremy has been a regular finalist of DSWF Wildlife Artist of the Year and a past category winner of BBC Wildlife Artist of the Year.

#SKETCHFORWILDLIFE:

Each year, the talented artists who take part in DSWF Wildlife Artist of the Year are invited to participate in #SketchForWildlife.

By painting or drawing a small image on a postcard it gives visitors to the online exhibition a chance to own a totally unique piece of work, by a highly sought after collection of artists.

The postcards have always been extremely popular and we hope you will support this initiative which allows more people to own a unique piece of original art, albeit on a slightly smaller scale. The subject and medium of the postcard was entirely up to the artist, with the subject matter being their own celebration of the natural world.

100% of the proceeds from this sale will support the charitable work of David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation (DSWF) and our ground-based conservation partners across Africa and Asia.
